GRAND Prix superstar Chris Holder is aiming for a shot at another world title – but not before making his King’s Lynn debut tonight (7.30).

The 2012 world champion has made a sensational switch from Poole to Lynn and lines up at the Adrian Flux Arena against Somerset in the opening Premiership meeting tonight.

Speaking to the club’s revamped match programme, Holder admits he’s excited by the new season.

“I’ve got a bit of a fresh start with King’s Lynn this year, and it seems to have been a long winter so I’m just excited to get back riding my bike,” Holder said.

“You always go in with high expectations to do well, and you want to be running up the front.

“It’s difficult to predict anything because the line-up is as strong as ever and every single rider in there is capable of winning rounds.”

Somerset are newcomers to the top flight after going up in the winter – they won the Second Division title last season and have added Danish international Patrick Hougaard to their side.

Fans are reminded season tickets are now on sale for all 14 Premiership fixtures at King’s Lynn and these can be purchased throughout the day and up until 7pm tonight.

The new club programme includes two pages with Holder, new boss Dale Allitt on the season ahead, details from the Premiership Pairs win at Somerset, the views of new club presenter Gavin Caney and much more – available for £2.50 on entry to the stadium.
