KING’S LYNN boss Dale Allitt is expecting a ‘top class’ meeting when his side host Belle Vue at The Adrian Flux Arena on Wednesday (7.30).

The Trucks R’ Us Stars are looking to make it two league wins out of two on home shale following their 53-37 win over Somerset at the beginning of the month.

However, Belle Vue have started their campaign strongly as well and Allitt knows his riders will have to be at their best, if they are to add to their SGB Premiership tally.

“Belle Vue are going pretty well so far this season – but I’m not interested in them,” Allitt said.

“We just need to focus on ourselves and if we do that and ride to our own capabilities, then we can beat anyone and a win against the Aces would be a fantastic result!

“We were disappointed to come away from Rye House on Saturday empty handed but this is a chance to get back to winning ways and show we’re a force this year, especially on our own track.”

Belle Vue include former King’s Lynn racer Kenneth Bjerre, as well as World Under-21 Champion Max Fricke and British star Craig Cook.

The club’s souvenir programme carries a column from Allitt, a feature interview with teenage reserve Josh Bailey, a two page spread on Robert Lambert, Presenter Gavin Caney’s thoughts, and in-depth look at the Aces and the all-important racecard – plus loads more. ‘The Star’ will be on sale at the stadium for £2.50.

KING’S LYNN: Chris Holder, Lewis Rose, Nicklas Porsing, Troy Batchelor, Robert Lambert, Kai Huckenbeck, Josh Bailey.

BELLE VUE: Max Fricke, Steve Worrall, Kenneth Bjerre, Justin Sedgmen, Craig Cook, Dan Bewley, Jack Smith.
