KING'S LYNN have received a further blow with the news that reserve Lewis Rose has suffered a broken collarbone.

The 27-year-old crashed while on SGB Championship duty with Newcastle at Edinburgh on Friday.

The Berkshire based racer now faces a a spell on the sidelines, leaving club bosses with further decisions to make.

Said Rose: "It's the same collarbone I broke before.

"I've bent the plate and pulled a couple of the screws through.

"I'm heading back home to sort an operation."

The Stars are back in action on Wednesday when they host Rye House at The Adrian Flux Arena.
