KING’S Lynn star Michael Palm Toft hopes they can earn some reward for their hard work as they head to Belle Vue on Friday (7.30).

The Trucks R Us Stars have slipped to two narrow home defeats following their team revamp including an agonising last-heat loss against Somerset on Monday.

But Palm Toft believes they are moving in the right direction as they find their feet in new surroundings.

And he says they are determined to turn things around – starting as they take on the high-flying Aces at the National Speedway Stadium.

“I’m just there to put a shift in, do my bit for the team and we’ll hopefully get a good run going,” Palm Toft said.

“It’s hard because a few of us riders haven’t been here a long time, but we’ve just got to settle in.

“We’re looking forward to the next few meetings and we’re happy we’re moving in the right direction.

“We’re here to put in 100% every time but we’re also here to win, so hopefully we can start doing that.”

The Stars draft in Danny King to guest for Robert Lambert, who is unavailable.

They are otherwise at full strength, whilst Belle Vue draft in Jake Allen to guest for the injured Rohan Tungate whilst utilising rider replacement to cover for Max Fricke.

BELLE VUE: Kenneth Bjerre, Max Fricke R/R, Steve Worrall, Jake Allen, Craig Cook, Dan Bewley, Jack Smith.
KING’S LYNN: Danny King, Michael Palm Toft, Thomas Jorgensen, Kai Huckenbeck, Tomas H Jonasson, Josh Auty, Nicklas Porsing.
